Today Mr.Max went away for the day. We did Accelerated Math all class. We also did the Spreadsheet Assignment. We didn't do any mental math today. We use a program in class called graphmatica. I found a site that has a free downloadable version so you can use it at home. The site is http://www.soft20.com/download-6-7052.html. I think thats all that we did today. Have a good weekend.

October 25, 2007

Today started out the same as most other days. We did a MM#22. We then started on a new page in excel. It was on Area Formulas For Shapes. For the rest of the class we were aloud to work on our Accelerated Math.

October 23rd/07

Today we had started off with mental math #21. Then we worked on our Everything Spreadsheet. We learned more about the Pythagorean Theorem. Then we had the last 20 mins to work on Accelerated Math.

Today Mr. Max wasn't feeling good. We got a class to work on accelerated math. He helped people the whole class. We have to have 21 objectives done for next week some time. At the end of class he printed everyone the tests they could do. Thats about the way the day went.

oct 18th stuff

Today Mr. Max showed us the second and third linear form on his computer. The two forms were the Point-Slope Form, and the Standard Form. He then very simply showed us what Graphmatica program is used for. For the rest of the class he let us work on Accelerated Math.

Oct. 18th scribe post

today in class on an o so boring thursday, the class started with a small discussion of the phrase "beat the dead horse", which continued to a speach on math and something called a truncate. After some notes and small speaches(more on math), went on to do accelerated math until class ended.

Today (Wednesday, October 17Th) Mr.Maksymchuk talked and showed us more we could do with our spreadsheets,but we didn't do much because of early dismissal. And he showed us some stuff about circles.

Accelerated Math

Today (Monday, Oct. 15), Mr. Maksymchuk talked to us for awhile, and then the organized chaos began with Accelerated Math. We were all supposed to have mastered 10 objectives by 3:40.

Thursday October 11th

Today we started off the day with Mental Math. When we were done we were able to cross out 2 of them from each side of the sheet that we didn't want. When we finished that we took a few notes...that are going to be below all this. After that notes we continued with our Accelerated Math worksheets. *The sign that looks like a squiggly = means "approximately".
